Eseri was founded in 2006 by a team of six Ottawa software engineers with a vision of integrating an all open source organization-level IT solution that would dramatically lower the cost and time barriers to use of powerful productivity and collaboration software by small and medium-sized organizations. 

Over the following three years the team selected the very best open source software in each functional category, integrated a full organization solution, automated desktop management, and automated organization management.
